What is one of the annual summer occurrences in Thomas Library’s Research Help Center?

Every year about one-third of the computers are replaced with new computers and monitors. This year has been no exception. In early August 2012 the computers in the back row of the RHC (located on the main floor of Thomas Library behind the Reference Desk) were replaced with new computers. These are among the newest, fastest and most powerful desktop computers on campus. The computers in the first two rows are still quite new with the front row being replaced in July 2011 and the middle row in July 2010.

The computers from the back row will be deployed to other areas of the library. Some will go to the lab on the first floor, while others may replace stand-alone computers. This is part of an effort by the Library to ensure Wittenberg students have recent technology at their fingertips.
