\nEach year Wittenberg University honors outstanding students, faculty and staff at the annual Honors Convocation. This year the Honors Convocation was held on Friday, April 7, 2017, in Weaver Chapel. We are always pleased to find names of library student-employees who have received well-deserved recognition and it is my pleasure to recognize them now. Hilley<\/strong> Additionally, several Thomas Library student employees participated in \u201cLiberal Arts in Action: A Celebration of Learning\u201d on April 7, 2017. <\/p>\n Grace Bartley<\/strong> was a participant on the panel session, New Insights Into Latino Immigration and Education where she presented a paper entitled, \u201cAnalysis of the Benefits and Challenges of the Creation of a Book Club for Eighteen of the Fifth and Sixth Grade Students of the Arturo Jimenes Sabter School.\u201d<\/p>\n Hannah Carroll<\/strong> participated in the poster session, presenting \u201cImmortality in Daoism.\u201d <\/p>\n Hannah Carroll<\/strong> participated in the poster session with other members of East Asian Studies, presenting \u201cEast Asian Club Volunteer Involvement in Springfield Schools.\u201d<\/p>\n Chelby Dye<\/strong> was a participant, with other Education students, at the panel session Gardens and Food \u2013 Real and Imaginary where they presented \u201cSociological Perspectives and The Promise Neighborhood.\u201d<\/p>\n Megan Gerrity<\/strong> was a participant at the panel session Athletes \u2013 Impact and Stressors where she presented a paper entitled \u201cThe Effects of Thriving With Stress on Athletes: Stress, Coping and Anxiety.\u201d<\/p>\n Alexandra Kukovich<\/strong> participated in the poster session, presenting \u201cWitt In Washington DC Program.\u201d<\/p>\n Alexandra Kukovich<\/strong> participated with other students from the International Studies \u2013 Peace Corps Preparation program in the poster session in the Geil Lounge, presenting \u201cLesotho Nutrition Initiative.\u201d<\/p>\n Valerie Richards<\/strong> was a participant on the panel session, Politics: Domestic and International Issues where she presented her paper, \u201cThe Experience of \u2018The Bund\u2019 in Soviet Russia.\u201d In addition, Doug Lehman<\/strong>, the Library Director, participated in \u201cThe Celebration of Learning,\u201d chairing the panel, \u201cAthletes \u2013 Impact and Stressors.\u201d<\/p>\n Again, congratulations on your accomplishments and honors.
