Welcome back to Wittenberg! I want to personally welcome each of you back for the spring semester. It doesn’t feel much like spring today, but it will by the time April and May roll around. For seniors, it is hard to believe that this is your last semester. Three and one-half years ago you moved into your residence hall and met your roommate. In some cases you have become friends for life; in other cases you will never see each other again after commencement.
We continue to look for ways to improve the library and to do a better job of providing educational experiences and improved service for you. We strive to be a student-centered library and we hope to see progress in certain directions this semester. Given the fiscal climate of the university at this time it is difficult to say which initiatives will come to pass, but we are always looking for ways to improve.
So, stop by and say hello, or just come in to warm up. Of course, we are here to assist you with your research projects and needs, so feel free to chat with a reference librarian, or other library staff member, and they can help you get started with your research.
Good luck with classes during the Spring semester.
